About Us

Located in Edmonton, AB, These Girls Can Paint is an exciting collaboration between Julie and Terri.

Terri and Julie met like most relationships these years, through social media.  With a last minute cancellation, Terri posted that she needed help at a comicon.  Julie stepped up, and unbeknownst to them,  it was the beginning of These Girls Can Paint.

With over 11 years of combined experience in children’s entertainment, Julie and Terri will bring sparkle, laughter and colour to your event.  Big or small, These Girls Can Paint will bring Miles of Smiles to YOUR event.

Mission and Vision

To create unforgettable moments.

These Girls Can Paint strives to always provide our clients with an excellent customer experience. Utilizing the latest technologies, we streamline our paperwork, from initial query to final invoice.  These Girls Can Paint will only use the highest quality, cosmetic grade products to provide cutting edge designs utilizing the latest techniques found in the industry.  We are always professional in look, attitude and outcome.

After having 2 children of her own, Terri discovered the joy of painting tigers and superheros.  After a while, she branched out to paint other people’s children and found that she had a passion and talent previously undiscovered.  Terri enjoys bringing princesses, fairies and other fantasy creations to life and smiles to each of the faces she paints.

Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, it was only fitting that one day Julie would start a business.  After a successful volunteer day face painting at her children’s elementary school, Julie was asked if she did parties.  Julie stepped out of her comfort zone and said yes.  She found the thing that could combine her passion for art, children and running her own business in that moment.

Once Julie and Terri joined forces, they began taking on leadership roles within the face and body art community.  Julie has volunteered her time serving as Membership Secretary for Canadian Association of Face and Body Artists (CAFABA).  Julie was also instrumental in organizing the 2018 Bodyssey, the only Canadian Face and Body Art Conference, in Banff Canada.  Terri also volunteered for Bodyssey, taking over the role of Social Media Coordinator.

Terri and Julie also find time to volunteer in their local community, giving time to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, Naomi’s Ride in Support of the Neurosurgery Kids Fund and other events close to their hearts.
